Remove Nicotine Stains From Vinyl Paneling

Vinyl paneling is often used in both the interior and exterior siding of homes. It is a popular choice of material due to the low level of maintenance required and easiness to clean. Most surface stains can be removed with water and a cloth. However, a house or venue where smokers frequent may develop more difficult nicotine stains over time. Use a few common household items to remove nicotine stains from vinyl paneling.

Instructions

1. Mix a solution of 1/3 vinegar to 2/3 warm water in a bucket.

2. Put on rubber gloves. Dip a soft cloth in the vinegar solution.

3. Wipe down the vinyl paneling using the moistened cloth. Continue to dip the soft cloth in the vinegar solution and wipe the stain. Discard the vinegar solution when it becomes dirty and mix a new batch of vinegar and water.

4. Wipe down the wall with clean water and a soft cloth.

5. Dry the vinyl siding with a soft cloth.
