Make a sassy Cleo de Nile costume.
Cleo de Nile has one of the sassiest looks in Mattel's "Monster High" doll collection. Make your own Cleo de Nile costume using clothes and accessories already in your closet. Spend a little extra at the fabric store to make Cleo's signature top. Finish off your look with Egyptian-inspired eye makeup to be one of the best dressed at the Halloween party
Instructions
1. Wrap the gold trim all around the legs of the unitard or leggings and glue into place. Try to wrap the trim around your legs while you have the leggings or unitard on to ensure proper fit. Cut strips of gold trim and glue them diagonally on the face of the tank top. The gold trim will give your look a "mummy-wrapped" effect.
2. Take the piece of blue sheer fabric and glue black fabric trim all around the edges of the fabric. Let the glue dry completely. Wrap the fabric around your back and over your chest. Twist the ends of the fabric and tie around the back of your neck.
3. Wear a pair of wedges, preferably espadrilles, matching the dominant color of your outfit, which should be white, beige or gold. Match your outfit with big gold earrings and bracelets. Wear some of your bracelets as gold armbands. Wrap some of the gold trim around your forearm to match Cleo's mummy look.
4. Apply gold nail polish and bold Egyptian-inspired makeup. Use black and purple eye shadows to make a heavy "cat eye" like Cleo's. Create dark, well-defined eyebrows and wear plum-colored lipstick and clear gloss for a shiny doll-like look. If you have straight, dark hair, wear it down. Glue some gold trim onto your blue headband to make Cleo's headpiece. Braid small gold braids near the front of your hair by taking a small piece of the gold trim and braiding it into your hair. If you have purchased a Cleopatra wig, just put your wig on and you are ready to be Cleo de Nile.
