Hide The Odor Of Tobacco Smoke

Cigarette smoking is a habit that many people find offensive. The lingering smell of smoke can last for quite some time, especially if you smoke inside your house. If you do smoke, you may feel insecure about how you or home smells as a result of your habit. If you want to minimize the smell of cigarette smoke, there are a number of things you can try to achieve this.

Instructions

1. Create smoke-free zones. You can do this by smoking outside instead of inside when you need a cigarette. This will prevent your home from smelling like smoke. Additionally, avoid smoking in your car. Committing to smoking outside will also help lessen the smoke smell on your clothes, as you will not be in a confined area penetrated by cigarette smoke. If weather prohibits you from going outside, smoke by an open window so that the majority of smoke will go outside rather than in your home or car.

2. Cover up the smell of cigarettes in your home through the use of other scents. You may want to light a candle or several fragrant candles. You could use an air freshener spray. Use a fragrant powder on your carpet that will help it smell nice and can be easily vacuumed up after several minutes of penetration. You may also want to use scented plug-ins.

3. Neutralize the smell of cigarettes in your home through the use of neutralizing room sprays such as Febreze. Odor neutralizers are designed to remove the smell of odor from the air without adding a new scent. Using a neutralizer such as Febreze can help you hide the smell of cigarette smoke without making it evident that you are trying to do so.

4. Change your clothing if it smells like smoke. Doing this will be the easiest way to remove the smoke smell from yourself.

5. Wear a perfume or body spray to cover up the smell of smoke. Spraying on a strong scent can help hide the smell of cigarettes. Additionally, you could spray yourself with a body spray to cover up the smell. Body sprays are great because they can be used in the hair.

6. Take care of your breath. Eliminate the odor through the use of mouthwash, teeth brushing, breath spray or gum.
