Quit Smoking With Cinnamon Stays

Cinnamon is a spice used in a variety of recipes that range from main dishes to desserts. Cinnamon sticks come from a tropical tree. When kept in a cinnamon stick form rather than ground for a spice, it is possible to use the cinnamon stick to help quit smoking. You can use cinnamon sticks to imitate smoking motions without actually smoking.


Instructions


1. Keep cinnamon sticks in easy reach. They are only effective if the cinnamon sticks are available and in reach when cravings for cigarettes hit. Keep a small bag or container with cinnamon sticks in your purse, vehicle or pocket.


2. Put a cinnamon stick in your mouth whenever you have a cigarette craving. Breath in deeply through the cinnamon stick. Exhale again.


3. Repeat inhaling and exhaling until the craving passes. Move and hold the cinnamon stick like a cigarette. Using the cinnamon stick like this will mimic the use of a cigarette and help you handle the cravings related to habitual smoking.


4. Drink some water after the craving passes if the taste of cinnamon is too strong.
